Didn’t run.

Maybe when there is no ice and more light.   I don’t like running alone.

Internal motivation

Do I have it?   Will I be able to get up tomorrow morning and go running by myself?   I honestly do not know.   It is going to be dark.  I think it is going to be icy.  I hate hate hate running on the track at the Y by myself.  Very boring.

On the other hand, my spouse bought me a pair of earphones for the Ipod.   And one of those running arm band thingys.   

Wish I had a couple of This American Life‘s on the Ipod. 

Better yet, wish I knew how to get them on there. 

Maybe I will set all of my clothes out to run outside.    And a set to run indoors if it is icy. 

For now I am going to go and crawl in bed with my eldest and read our respective books.   He is reading Peter and the Shadow Thieves.    I am reading Quicksilver.    I will fall asleep before him.  “Like you always do”, he says as he reads over my shoulder, counting the words as I write this.    One seventy seven….One Hundred seventy nine….
